Title: App to show game info while running?

Does anyone know if there is an app out there that will pop up an image while in MAME whenever a particular key is pressed? I think this would be especially useful for showing a moves list in mortal kombat or street fighter.

If there isn't something like this out there then maybe I will go ahead and make one. It wouldn't require much effort to make. It would be a simple wrapper application that pauses MAME and then displays full screen images or PDFs for that particular game. I would expect it to support the capability to scroll through multiple images for a game.

I initially was thinking this could be done with autohotkey. However, after some thought it might be more portable and elegant to integrate it all in one app.

What are your thoughts? I do not want to reinvent the wheel.

I'm interested in this as well.  Sounds like it would be an useful capability.

I've been looking for a way to display the current time in a corner of the screen and this might be a way to do that.

I have cpwiz to show all the controls when paused.
