Hi guys,
I've got a couple units that are in need of new monitors; and l was curious if there was an easy solution to hook up a newer LCD monitor to one of these older PCBs (without hacking away at wires and soldering doing soldering work lol). I'd prefer to keep the units in a state that l could easily convert them back to the VGA monitors if l wanted to.
Thanks!

There is some rgb to vga converters alot of people use in the building of superguns. one of those would be a good fit for your needs.

the one we have works pretty good.
it doesn't like odd resolutions. but otherwise it displays just fine.
tried it with a Golden Tee boarsdset without luck. found the resolution output by the board was a real oddball resolution.

We've got two of them in use, one in a Karnov cabinet and the other in a World Rally cabinet. We got the cabinets for free, both monitors were blown. We found a couple of cheap LCD panels and a bought a couple of these converters and hooked them up. It actually doesn't look too bad at all, to be honest.
