Title: I need help badly, xarcade and mameui

Hi guys I have an xarcade 2 player, second player stick is great, first player when you go to jump in mk1 it punches and jumps. When you choose a player it chooses when moving the stick, number 2 doesnt have this issue. What am I doing wrong? I also have some other mapping issues with buttons but will visit those later. Is this a common problem. I just need a little hand holding I guess.

Using mameui go to default game properties in the options menu.   There you will find a tab for controllers.  There you will find default input layout (standard).   Use the pull down menu to select xarcade.  Hope that helps.
