I have recently obtained a 1986 Rowe Ami r90 jukebox and although coin mechanism works great with US coins, I am wondering if there is any way I can adapt to accept Canadian coins?

Picture of the coin mech in question please.

That would appear to be a Coinco model 790 coin acceptor. Here is the manual for it:

It is already designed to be adjustable to accept/reject Canadian coins by sliding the "stick magnets" to the left or right.
Instructions are in the manual I linked to.

Hello Bluestarlounge,
If your coin mechanism has the full path on the back of the coin mech then you can virtually get it to accept any coin of a small size.
