LOL...
I actually saw cmdrTaco's arcade machine before I ever got into it myself... I think his is what got me searching around & I finally found this site.
I love his brutal honesty...
This code is released under the GPL. I DO NOT WANT BUG REPORTS. If it blows up your computer, I don't care, its your own damn fault. Send diffs, or don't bother writing about this code. If anyone wants to expand this into a real project that is easy to setup and ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---, thats cool, but I only wrote what I needed. If you have a different itch, scratch away. But if you can't make it work, I don't have time to help you.
He created /. & is one of lead maintainers (if not more...?).

JFront is my java based one.... It should work... but I haven't tested it for a few versions...
I'm starting another thread now on it.

About the only other two FEs that are cab friendly would be lemonlauncher and advmenu.

I think the "be" doesn't belong: Lemon Launcher:

Sorry, missed a space :)

Yeah try lemon launcher. Graphically very similar to Game Launcher, but in some ways it's better.

And in someways lemon launcher sucks. hint, put it in the same folder as mame. Otherwise it won't use cfgs and inis already there. It doesn't temporarily switch to the mame directory to execute mame.

Advmemu works quite nicely, but in Linux & Dos. Very configurable.
