Title: CP Re-design Question: 4-way or 8-way

I vaguely recall there being an online database, but I can't seem to find what I am looking for...

I am redoing my 4 player CP and I am set with 1 dedicated 4-way Ms. Pac-Man stick and 2 UltraSticks.  The question I have is whether I should use 8-ways or 4-8 way MagSticks for players 3-4.  Are there any games where Players 3-4 would need a 4-way?  I can't think of any, but am hoping to get confirmation.

There are, but you are never, ever, ever going to play them because they all date back to the early black and white era and almost all of them can be described as "Snakes".

I think you are looking for the MAWs database....it is gone.

My Trog machine is 4 player with 4 way sticks, but IMO, you can play it with 8 way sticks without losing out too much. If PacMan Battle Royale ever becomes available in some format, that would be a good reason to get switchable joys.

Yes - MAWS.  That's what I was thinking of.  Too bad its gone.

Thanks for the input.  For the amount of times 4-way player 3 & 4 are used, its not worth getting switchables.
