Title: Confused about led buttons, wiring...
Post by: redbeard30 on February 29, 2012, 12:33:30 pm
I have 14 spectralites for my cp. I'm running Mala, and basically want to lite what buttons are used for in each game. They are only using a single blue led. Do I need resistors? Also, is the Mala software all I need? Does it "call" on the controls file to know what buttons to lite?  I plan on using the packac drive. Thanks for helping a noob!

No need for resistors on the Spectralite or Chromalites, or any of the led buttons at the GGG store.  They are already built in.  Just make sure you are using the voltage specified (or lower, which will decrease brightness some) and you will be good to go.
