I just got back from answering a local ad for a "Capcom" cabinet. "We have gutted most of the electronics, take the cabinet"
I emailed the guy. We arranged to meet tonight at 8pm. I asked him a few questions about the cabinet. I asked if he knew what game it used to be. He mentioned it was a game you wouldnt find in an arcade but it looks like an arcade cabinet. He stated there was a tracball and a couple of joysticks. I figured what the heck. I could use the controllers.
They brought me in to get the cab. It was brand new. There is Capcom art on the side. I glanced at the back sticker....Hanaho Arcade PC!!!!
They had taken the computer, monitor and soundsystem. They said an old room mate had won it and had sinced moved. It is brand new. I put the first scratch in it moving it. I found all three keys tucked in the coindoor. There is even 4 quarters in the plastic bin!
I am pretty excited.

pics?
I will shoot some in the morning and post before work.
Anyone know if I can use the Hanaho keyboard interface like I would use an IPAC? Do I need their "Special Arcade OS" to use the controls?

Is it just JAMMA? Then you just need a JPAC to connect to a computer.
-
Not JAMMA. The Tracball plugs into the mouse port. The IPAC like interface has two ports (one for keyboard, one to computer, I assume) All of the buttons and joysticks are wired to the IPAC like device.

IIRC that thing works just like an i-pac except that you can't program it. One plug goes to the keyboard port, and the other should be a pass through to use a real keyboard.

Oh, it's an ArcadePC. I misread, I thought it was a Capcom cabinet that Hanaho happen to make.
It should just be PC compatible.
