Title: S-video vs Composite (Yes, I read the FAQ)...
Post by: Mugzilla on September 24, 2003, 10:48:56 pm
Fear not, I have actually read through the FAQ and did not see this as a topic.

It seems that it is gosepel that "Ye must use s-video and not an RCA connection to your TV".

-HAS ANYONE EVER HAD LUCK USING THE RCA JACK OFF OF A VIDEO CARD?

I would really like the new tv for my living room, and chuck my non-svideo-having tv inside the cabinet...

to save you some trouble try slaming your head into a brick wall

this is a realistic simulation of what you will feel like 10 mins after you play

if you feel fine go for it

I tried composite video and it was blurry on the windows desktop, but decent for the games. The only problem is when yor are done with the game and you have to select another one, it's hard to see the game list because it is blurry. I just tried plugging directly into s-video and the picture is better than composite. You can see the windows desktop without it being blurry. Hope this helps.
