Title: Widening a 25" bezel for a 27" TV?
Post by: Well Fed Games on February 24, 2012, 12:08:47 pm
As the title says, anybody successfully widen out the inside of a 25" bezel to accommodate a 27" tv better? Would love to hear tips/approaches on how to do it best.

What material is the bezel made of?  Is it secured to the cab or can you take it out?

this would be the rigid (thin) black plastic bezels found in most stock machines. Removable.

Just get one for a 27" tube. You'll never cut a molded bezel to a different size and have it look good. If you take the TV out of the case then the bezel will match right up (assuming a CRT tv set).

Yeah, the monitor area is definitely someplace where I am a perfectionist, so I should probably just buy one. I need a 19" anyway, so may as well add another to the order.
