A fun little poll... just curious what the most popular options are here.

This is interesting. I thought more people would select black laminate. You see so many of those.

Also interesting is the number that would choose real wood. The cost of having that actually look decent can be hundreds of dollars in professional finishing.

It's not even close in my head.  With high quality veneer and a nice oil finish you can make a piece of furniture suitable for almost any room in the house.  Black laminate is destined for the basement.
