Title: My first mame cab 2player bartop
Post by: hotman on February 23, 2012, 04:46:53 pm: Hi guys been reading these forums for a while now and thought it was about time i had a go at making a mame cabinet. After some thought i decided on a 2player bartop to play Sf2,mvsc,last blade 2 ect.My pc to run it will be a 10" nootbook with a broken screen, I orderd an arcade button/joystick kit and some tmolding from Gremlin Solutions and a slot cutter from wealden tools luckly i have a good mate whos a carpenter. I could not find any plans i liked so i just sketched it out and hoped for the best anyway here are some pics of it so far hope you all like it

Post by: hotman on February 24, 2012, 01:26:12 pm: Hi guys just a quick update I'm gona use maximus arcade as my front end and sf2 as the theme, I have gone with blue tmolding and buttons my wife got the art work done today and I got the lexan cut. My 9 year old son is rushing me abit to get it done lol

Post by: hotman on March 01, 2012, 01:11:39 pm: Hi all got it painted today but I have got a cut edge at the front that's a bit lighter than the rest of the paintwork. :cry: I also got hold of an old pc to run mame that's a lot faster then the notebook that I was gona use and it runs killer instinct no probs ;D sorry all my pics are crap but I'm using my phone to take them and upload to this forum. Any tips on what I can do to the light edge would be cool and here are some pics.
