Title: wii/ps2 with Jamma switcher
Post by: starwarsfan54321 on February 20, 2012, 04:11:19 pm
I am currently starting my first project, it is an original Mortal Kombat, I plan on using a multiboard at first, and then adding my Wii and PS2 and possibly a Naomi in the distant future as well.
Has anyone ever used a Jamma switcher such as the 6in1 off of Jamma boards for consoles using J-Pacs, the wii i will be using is soft modded with boot2 installed with hackmii and a non-functioning disk drive with snes/nes emulators and soon to be having a usb external hard drive.

To be completely honest what you just described is so far beyond what I could ever recommend as a first project that it isn't even funny. The level of complexity you are talking about there is about as high as you can get in the hobby, while the expense of the project would be incredible compared to the results.

Put a PC in a cabinet first, and then if you can make that work then you can think about putting in consoles. Once you get that going you might find that you aren't all that interested in shoehorning a console in there.
