Found a great program that converts your bitmap images into vector and I thought I would share https://vectormagic.com/home/log_in
The results come out superb. :applaud:

Warning: it depends greatly on your source material. Keep your expectations in check.

Found all this Star Wars art that I want to put around my game room. The difference is not too bad at all..

thats about the same if you drew them from scratch. random test
too bad its not free. maybe I will just pay for a month and vectorize random street fighter stuff. pictures without too much will look fine.

I got the software itself. I know how to make vector images manually and it would take me hours to do a small picture while this program can do the same thing in minutes. there is a "high detail" setting too. here is another test. original vs vectorized.
amazing find :applaud:

FYI, you can use Inkscape to do the exact same thing, and then edit them when you're done.
-
well this one is neat. didn't know it was so "easy". while manually doing it might be rewarding, its a royal waste of time other than maybe to show of your vector skills lol.

just used this program on my artwork, worked out great. Thanks!

You talking about Inkscape? It has an auto-trace.
-
It does an ok job, but hand-vectorized always looks better, especially concerning color gradients and fine details like hair, etc. This works in a pinch, though.

no. I was talking about vector magic.
