Title: Anyone with RoadBlaster working in Daphne 1.0
Post by: AlienInferno on February 16, 2012, 09:42:52 pm
In the process of reconfiguring my mame pc and decided to install daphne 1.0 and ran into a problem.  Is there anybody here with RoadBlaster working in Daphne 1.0?  Specifically it keeps saying it's missing the 02.bin file from the rom.  It's the sound related file if I remember correctly.  Anyway I know I can't ask where to find it, etc.  Basically just curious to see if anyone has it working or not.

Yep, got it working.  It's been a long time, but I remember having the same issue.

I don't think I found it by searching for the missing file by itself, but searching for the whole set, or rom, or whatever it was called.
I think it took downloading it from 4 or 5 places before I found one that wasn't missing that file.

I've had it on my regular setup for a couple years.
I'd like to get it working on the driving cab, but Daphne doesn't work with analogue controls, even if you have something like joy2key posting key presses.  :'(

I was googling this issue because I thought I remembered having to rename some of the files too.
Came accross this:

I seriously don't know if I could get all this stuff set up again if I had to!  :lol

Thanks for the help man.  I got lucky earlier today and found that missing 02.bin file and FINALLY have road blaster working.

As long as it's not a DL title, DaphneLoader should handle it all.
