I was wondering if the Marvel vs capcom that was on the Sega Dreamcast is available in Mame? Not that I will get it, and I am not asking where to get it, and if i chose i would pay gratuities to the game company.... just if it is available. If it is, do I need to install something different into mame to make these style games work? Also, what do you think minimum spec requirements would be?
I am looking at a single core intel 1.8 with a 4400 or so video card.

Marvel VS Capcom, MVSC 2 are in MAME. If MVSC 3 will make it to Arcades, maybe (2-5 years later) it might be emulated in MAME.
MAME supports/emulates/documents games that was/is release in ARCADES only (not home consoles).

Are there any emus that emu console games?
Otherwise I need to hook up my Sega Dreamcast to my Mame cabinet?

NULLDC or Demul are emulators for the Dreamcast. Not sure which one would work best for MvsC.
There are many other emulators available for other consoles. Mostly they work pretty well. PS2 and Wii Emulation needs a fairly powerful PC to get the most out of them.
Do a search and you should find further help and Info on emulators.

I saw this and didn't want to respond, but since nobody else spelled it out I just want to clarify in case there is some sort of mixup.
Marvel vs Capcom 2 was the last mvc released for the dreamcast... it is a fairly old game.
Maveral vs Capcom 3 was released just last year... it is for the ps3 and xbox 360... it hasn't even been announced if it'll be released in the arcades. it isn'ta dreamcast title nor does it run on naomi hardware.
