Title: NM - PC monitor OSD doesn't display
Post by: Gray_Area on February 11, 2012, 03:44:10 pm
This is a Mistubishi Diamondtron Pro 91 TXM.  It has a pop-out panel. No OSD shows when I press any of the buttons. Nor does anything happen when the degauss button (on the panel) is pressed. Am I hosed?

*** I got rid of this.

You know, for some reason such a weird idea occured to me, and I looked. No such thing. Also just re-checked the manual. Nothing on that.

looks like a membrane keypad... perhaps the ribbon cable has become broken due to the flipout aspect of it.. or become disconnected.

either way you're looking at pulling it apart to see.

Well that was exciting. All the cables looked fine. I didn't feel like pulling and re-seating them, though.
