Post by: caskad on February 09, 2012, 08:41:34 am
Hello,

i want to know if under xp64 with ati 4890, i can have clone desktop with one for my cab (15khz) and other for samsung hdmi plasma?

My test are wrong, because , when drivers are ok on my cab, il i plug HDMi output, signal switch to hdmi priority.

I have try to install CCC 9.3 (cloning system), but various error (runtime etc etc)  borring me :)

solution for this kind of problem:

2 systems?

or crt emudrivers can handle this with CCC ?

thx

You probably have read this already:

The key to success for cloning displays seems to be that both displays are of the same kind. Cloning an analog and a digital display seems like a very bad idea. In the best case you'll have horrible tearing.

The best way to deal with different monitors at the same time is to enable them as independent displays through the usual display properties dialog in Windows XP. Then launch MAME with the -screen \\.\DISPLAY1 or -screen \\.\DISPLAY2 options to target each monitor.

The drivers behave fine with CCC, probably the problem is that you have to install .NET in order to run CCC (amazing but true).
