hi all i have an old xbox <soft modded> i want to to put it in my jamma cab can any 1 point me to a tut and also a tut how to power up cab and xbox all in 1 thanks wayne

Take a look at the adapters ultimarc has for your xbox to jamma/arcade monitor.

Which softmod did you use? Those Ultimarc adapters look great, but I think Frosty's is the only softmod that will allow VGA output from your Xbox. Start here:

If you are going to play xbox games I'd go with those Ultimarc adaptors. If you are only making a mame setup, I wonder if a simple USB to Xbox adaptor would work with an ipac or any other keyboard interface...

I built my own xbox->VGA cable like this - fun project at the time but I think I'd buy Ultimarcs next time around:
