I am in the process of designing a cocktail cab and am wondering what the standard CP widths are. I've seen both 9" and 11'' mentioned, but is this an exact measurement? I see Arcade Depot sells these two sizes as well, but are they also exactly 9" and 11"? or are they 11.25" or something?
Ideally, I'd like to replicate an early 80's Midway cab.

I have an arcade depot cocktail kit, with 9" control panels. The actual space between the sides is about 9 1/4".
The 9" control panel set sold by Mike's Arcade Link (http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=CPMWCTSET) is supposed to be a replacement for Ms. Pac-Man or Galaga, and fits the arcade depot kit perfectly.

Thanks for the reply Gaaargh. I see on the Kyle Lindstrom plans, he specifies 9 and 3/16" so sounds about right for what you have as well.
Still not sure about the 11" panels. I've read that PacMan used 11" and Galaxian used 11.25".

I could measure up this one for you later, if this is relevant?
More pics here (http://kanskje.com/bilder/arcade/Cocktail/), if that is needed...

I believe the 11" Pacman control panels are actually 11". If anything else, they're a hair smaller at 10 15/16".

That makes sense, don't want too tight a squeeze. So if I build for 11", a standard CP should fit right in.
