How do you mean animated?

Mala can play the game videos, and i +think+ it can display animated GIFs, but that's about it for built in animation functions.

What did you have in mind?

Mala can do one animated gif per layout, but it has to be the same size as the layout resolution wise (full size, i.e. 800x640, etc.) with the animation wherever in that gif area that you want it to be in the final layout, so you'll have to get into a gif editor to set that up.

also, you can take an image and scroll it up or across the screen, up to four images per layout I think.

and game videos are handled as a separate object.

This is from memory but it's covered in the documentation of mala layout editor.  Also, I know Mike Boss here has done it before in his layouts.

For me animated layout It's a layout that it has some animated objects on it.

I want to learn to use the MalaLayout, so I'm looking for a manual of MALA or MALALayout.

Thanks for your help and sorry for my bad English.

This link contains the information about moving an image.

http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Mala_Layout (http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Mala_Layout)

the information about embedding an animated gif I guess is only documented on the forum.  let me know if you can't find it here and I'll take a look
