Title: questions about double donkey kong

I'm just curious on why exactly you have to use a dkjr board to do this? I have a dk3 board coming and like to know what I can do cause I was thinking ab out throwing in some dk chips in it or sumthing because I don't like dk3 really but I would actually like to have a triple dk dkjr and dk3 that would be cool. Has anybody done that

Because the guy who figured out how to run both games did it on a DK Jr board? You can't just throw different ROM's on a board and expect it to work.
