Ok, I've got the basic monster up and running...almost.
Whenever I try to launch a game (or a pinball) I get a Director Player Error/Script Error. Any ideas? I thought I had set all the configs to my Mame32.exe and Vpinball.
Daves's Backglasses. I tried some out, none are working. Wrong directory? I've put them in Backglassessmall.
On 3d models. The w3d files I've downloaded all look very nice, but what's with the duplicate 3ds max format models?
Another queer bug is that none of the videos are working. I have realplayer 8 plus installed and they work fine played externally on it--but in Emulaxian they won't kick in. I figured that even on my slightly slow system I'd be able to see some sort of jerky movement if I zoomed up into Asteroids.

-don't uses mame32 with the fe but the normal commandline win32 version.
-you have to setup the paths correctly in the cfg files...ie for mame in femame.cfg There you also point to the locations of your artwork stuff...for example for videos to showup for mamegames

Ah, the normal command line version of Win32. OK, I'll grab it and try it out. And people were telling me that All versions of Mame worked... If I just drop the main exe in my mame file directory, it won't screwup Mame32, will it? I've had problems in the past with mame upgrade versions...
I've found the path I missed for the backglasses, so that's fine.
Though again I can't quite see where I'm missing paths to the videos (they're all set to legal, working directories)...maybe I will wait for the next version!

mame32 will probably work with the right commandlines settings...It is just not designed to be run from the commandline. no there is no problem having extra exes in there.
post your femame.cfg glvideodir|| entry from femame.cfg that will show me if it is correct. and in that path the videos have to be unzipped! (have to put that unzipping in the docs you won't believe how many emails I got and that was the problem number to after having something els in the models subdir ;) ) Also if you have had real one player on your system installing real player 8 after that will in some cases not work...
