I have several 17" ELO touchscreen monitors that I purchased a few years back.
The whole idea was (and still is) a touchscreen jukebox. I love Uncle T's program and have a PC configured with it ready to go.
Anyway I'd like to add more depth to the project when its completed. I figure since I'm going to pay money to have a nice cabinet built for it what else can it do ?
How can I give it more depth, more appeal, get more use ? I know touchscreen games are all the rage in bars.
So it got me thinking what programs can I add to this project ?
I'm not very familiar with any touchscreen games, be it PC based games, or emulators.
Can anyone provide me with some advice, info, links, etc ?
Thanks

I'll check it out, but I'm happy with Uncle T's.
I've custom skinned it, it looks good, works good, and the support by Uncle T was amazing.
I know it pulled the program awhile back, but all the support I needed, FLV videos, etc...............all added !
My games room (basement renovation) began Dec 16th and I'm excited. I'm really happy with my collection, all be when I see others games rooms I feel like I need "MORE!"
I have my Nintendo DK with a 60-in-1, Nintendo DK JR with a vertical MAME set up, Nintnedo Popeye wired Jamma with different control panels, and lastly Nintendo Mario Bros which will be MAMED with a six button 2 player set up. I love the look of Nintendo cabinets and I actually feel for the first time my collection is complete. I have no desire to get more machines. BUT......... the other machines I have if I could add more function that would be a plus.
That brings me to this thread, a friend of mine made a joke when I told him about the jukebox, "I have a jukebox also, its called an iPod!". And truth be told he isnt far off ! I do plan on adding a universal iPod dock to my set up, but the jukebox is cool, its different. Actually when I get the cabinet built I might see if I can get it built to look like a mini Nintendo cabinet.
Sorry if I seem to have gone a lil off topic............back to what I want.....................I'd love to add some games like you see in bars, card games, trivia games, match games, etc. I would have thought they would be readily available.
I don't know if I can emulate touchmaster machines (is that what they are) ?

Popcap and Gamehouse games are usually quite playable with a touchscreen. Bejewled, Spot the difference and that kind of thing. I would do a search for Touchscreen compatible PC games and see what comes up.
As for the pub based games, I believe this has been asked before and is generally frowned upon due to Megatouch etc still making money from them. because of this I have sent you a PM regarding the rest ;)

Appreciate the PM.
Looks like I will have some homework to do, but I look forward to it.
I've promised myself I wont start this until I've completed wiring my DK & Popeye.
But I might start the PC configuration of this A.S.A.P.
The actual cabinet build will wait.
Thanks

Any game that can be played with just a mouse is "touchscreen compatible". ;)

you can use this front end for your touchscreen games !
http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/SimpleTouch_FE (http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/SimpleTouch_FE) and then go to touchswipe.com become a vip member there are tons of touchscreen games and a whole forum dedicated to them http://www.touchswipe.com/ (http://www.touchswipe.com/)
:applaud:

Drnick, any chance you could pass along the same info to me regarding the "pub style" games? Getting ready to start my bartop arcade/portable jukebox project and could really use all the help I can get otherwise I'll never get around to finishing this project ;)

Not sure if I should resurrect this old thread or start a new one, but I have the same question.
Unfortunately all the links that I find are long dead including:
reproserv.no-ip.org
That was a site with about 200 different touch screen games, exactly what I'm looking for.
Anyone have a working link or some direction to point me in?
Thanks
