I am currently replacing my caps with a cap kit I got from the Bob Roberts(very easy to deal with, can't say enough about him...even got a free calendar!)
According to his spec sheet, I am supposed to replace this C110 cap with a 4.7uf 50v cap, but the previous cap that is in there does not look the same and is a lot wider. Before I proceed, I just want to know if I should go ahead and still replace this cap. Here is a pic. The brown one is the one that came off of the board and the blue is the one I am supposed to replace it with.
Thanks for looking!!

don't look right to me,what does Mr Roberts say?

Yes, I just received an email from him. He said kits include caps for the board that various mfrs modify. I should have left that one alone since my board doesn't use it......now I just need to know if there is a positive and a negative on that old cap and if it matters which way I put it in.....
Thanks.

That type of brown cap you've pictured is generally not polarized, so you can put it in either way.
