Hi, I've been having a problem where I am unable to exit Model 2. It launches fine, but once Model 2 is running, hitting escape only puts the screen in windowed mode, instead of terminating the program altogether. Does anybody have any experience with this? This problem has been plaguing me for months! Any advice helps. Thanks for your time.

¿Have you tested AllInOne?
-
or closemul
-
Yes.
AllInOne can be very useful! :blah:
-
Yeah use the hot-keys option!!!
-
Could somebody explain how closemul works? I've put a few hours into dinking around with it but I've had to success.
-
Just had to re-install my model 2, using escape as a hotkey works fine.
Have you tried that?

Hi,
I've been through this exact process.
Follow this thread.....start from where "Nitz" gets involved. (he does a step by step resolution)

By doing this it will also hide the M2 picture on start up. Just follow the directions to the letter, and you'lll be fine ;D
Cheers

Yeah that solves the launch screen issue but this is for quiting model2!
Setting up a hot key will escape to Mala!

I'm having the same problem.
I can launch the Model 2 emulator just fine, but if I hit ESC it just shows the M2 shell. It doesn't go back to MALA.
Where can I get this "AllinOne"?? Help?

Here's the right answer. Use Hotkeys:
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=116475.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=116475.0)
See post by harveybirdman-
"When you select close [in Hot Keys] as the feature the field [Sourc] where the default "ESC" is displayed becomes grayed out.[click to make grey]
However you can still click in there an press the button that you really want to use, such as Q, F1 or whatever.
Going to test this really quick on my "cab" (it's not really a cab yet Wink) and I'll come back and post the results.
EDIT: indeed this works no problems so you can set your "hotkey" for quit to anything you want."
I tried this out and it works. I used SPACE button in the "Source" field instead of ESC for the "Close" function.
