This looks like something I played at a mall in Phoenix years ago. It looked like a tractor trailer plopped in the middle of a fun center, and I could SWEAR the game it played was StarBlade, but maybe it was this...
Whew, an original pricetag of $3 million, how did they make any money off it?

Cool looking game, for some reason I think the building looks like a beauty salon.

Can I mame that thing? ;)

I've seen that at Dave and Busters in Philadelphia. I didn't play it. I haven't been there in years, so I don't know if they still have it.

Wow that thing is pretty insane looking. :) Although it always seems that the games with the biggest contraptions house the dullest games (except for this one shooting game I played where you have to physically duck to hide from gunfire - that was pretty fun).
Perhaps if I win the lottery, I'll pick one of those up and turn it into a Moon Patrol. ;)

I played this at a Dave and Buster's in Dallas. From what I remember, it was pretty fun.
It was a neat concept because it was like a 3d galaxian, but you competed to zap the bugs with all the other people in the theater. So the quickest and the most accurate won out at the end.
It was fun, but I think the competetion was the main draw.
It would definitely be a great addition to a gameroom with enough space.

They have the Glaxaian theatre in D&B in White Flint mall in MD. I've played it a few times. It's up to 8 players at a time. There are 3 huge screens that wrap around 150 degree field of view. Good music and sound effects, very confusing game play. Too many things to shoot at , and shooting at you.

A Star Wars version of this would be truly cool...

Yeah... Galaxian 3.... I have it on my playstation - import.

God this game was fun. I remember it was like $6 to play at Great America. Huge screen. I wish this was on mame. Oh well, I guess I'll have to pick up the playstation version.

I still use to play it every year since so many times :D
It grows with me :

Yup I remember seeing one in London about 8 years ago. I already had played the full-size Afterbunrer (the one that completely rolls) and some weird virtual 3d game where you were standing in a small "boxing ring" and was wearing 3d goggles and had some control in your hand. By moving the control you walked around the scenery but that was only strange building shapes etc. I still don't know what the goal of that game was.
Anyway, I didn't play Galaxian 3 stupidly :'( :'(
Hey Darth Nuno, looks like I need to plan a trip to that arcade, that still looks like a proper arcade to me :) And Blankenberge is not that far from my place :)

Yes yes yes
IMO this is why a forum like this should exist. To get the full arcade experience of any game you need to have the CONTROL PANEL. ( And man what a control panel..room) I would of loved to play this game. :) It would of been a theatre experience of my favourite game "1979 Galaxian" Please post more picks of this game if any one has it as I never actually got to see/play one and the KLOV is pretty short with info..
Thanks
Any 8-way Sprints??

There's one in the Bally's Le Mans arcade at Crossroads Mall in Oklahoma City. I haven't seen it functional for years though... actually I haven't been there in a year either.
