hi all,
it's been a while since i've updated my emu's and am doing so now. unfortunately, i've forgotten how to use some things.
i am running winUAE 2.3.3.0 (for amiga and cd32) and it starts fine thru my front end but i can't seem to get it to quit with ESC; enter closemul.
winUAE uses ctr+f11 to quit. if i'm not mistaken, i need to enter the ASCII code for CTRL and also F11 into the closemul cfg file. but i can't seem to find ascii codes for these two keys.
anyone on here using closemul with winUAE? little help? pretty please?

Have you tried using a launcher like WinUAE Loader ( http://headsoft.com.au/index.php?category=winuaeloader (http://headsoft.com.au/index.php?category=winuaeloader) )? You can set a global exit key (ESC) that kills WinUAE.
I have used it on my cabinets with great success. :)

You need to enter the ASCII code for the button you want to use to quit the emulator.
Example ESC = 27

i've tried looking up ascii tables but cant find ctrl+f11 anywhere

You do not need to use Ctrl+F11. You can set ANY key to exit the emulator.
- Exit Key 1: (ASCII key code). The key that will be used to Exit the Program. Defaults to ESC (27).

i've been using closemul wrong all these years? i was under the impression that closemul "listens" for the "ESC" key to be pressed and THEN sends the user input command listed in the "exit key" lines.
i just tried it with 27 as suggested and it still isn't quitting. also tried leaving the line blank (default is ESC) and it still didn't do it.
fyi, i just tried an old wrapper i have for the vpinball emulator and it worked!
