I was hoping to use my octopus vga cable to connect to an arcade monitor (hooked to a jamma connector).
Anyone know how to do it?
Thanks!
(btw, only if you got the information... I can get the ohm meter out and figure out which pin is going to what cable... but it seemed like someone might know off the top of their head)

http://www.gamesx.com has pinouts for both VGA and Jamma. You could also get a J-Pac from http://www.ultimarc.com and that would take care of the keyboard encoder too, if you're doing it for a Mame machine.

It was more the vga -> octopus cable. I know the others sources. But I was hoping someone might have already figured it out.
btw, the octopus cable breaks out the rgb stuff.

You mean into BNCs? There should a diagram or color coding scheme out there. I think it goes something like Red, Green, and Blue are RGB, white is H-Sync, black is V-Sync. Since you connect the H-Sync and V-Sync together, it doesn't really matter which is which.

This may be helpful: http://www.solvalou.com/arcade_jamma.php . Scroll down and it shows you where everything goes on the harness.
Off topic, but are you a fur, or do you just like wolves?
