I have a Wells Gardner 9800, 27" monitor. I just had the chassis completely rebuilt and saw it running on another tube. But when I got it home and hooked it all up I get no picture, not even a speck of light. My tube has neck glow, and I hear the normal pssshhzzzzzzpt and click when it's powered on, and there appears to be no physically looking damage to the tube.
If fiddled with the controls but still see nothing.
If the tube is bad can it be repaired or replaced, and if so how do I get a replacement tube?
Thanks

You have neck glow so that's good. Touch the front of the screen when it is on and see if you feel static. If you do then you have High voltage, if you don't, then I would check the high voltage anode. Also, make sure you properly seated the neck board on the picture tube.

turn the screen volts up on the flyback first
i have seen tubes do this but its rare

Take the whole thing over to whoever rebuilt the chassis.

Is whatever you hooked it up to actually running properly?
(ie the game, computer, etc)
