Puzzle Piece#11 Below:
With Christmas right around the corner we thought we would have a little contest!!
There will be 5 winners.
The Winners of the contest will receive the following:
5th Place: 24x36 Poster.
4th Place: 24x36 Poster & $10 Gift Certificate.
3rd Place: 24x36 Posters & $15 Gift Certificate.
2nd Place: 24x36 Poster & $20 Gift Certificate.
1st Place: Control Panel Overlay & $25 Gift Certificate.
The Posters & Control Panel Overlay can be your design or ours.
No exchanges!
Now, the contest....
It's a Guessing Game Puzzle sorta thingy..
All you need to do is guess the Game-Puzzle.
We will add a piece to the puzzle every 20mins or so.
There are 11 pieces to the puzzle.
All pieces will be revealed before we announce the winners.
(Each new piece will just replace the previous one).
How to win:
The First person to PM me the correct answer is the 1st place winner.
The Second person is the 4th place winner,
And so on until we have 5 correct answers.
Again, we won't announce the winners until the last puzzle piece is revealed.

I think it's a fun idea... although I didn't see it until a day later when all the pieces were posted. But then again, I don't know that game so I probably needed lots of hints anyway.

I missed it too, but if you look at the strider pic in the OP you can see its broken into jigsaw like segments
I assume these where revealed at different times and guessing the picture entered you into the comp.

Awe man, I could have been second if I didn't have so much faith in this community figuring it out... I figured there would be no way I could have been in the top 5 by the time I was able to identify it (with the help of tinyeye). Oh well.

i googled it and it appears to be some sort of image reverse image search.

I knew exactly what game it was not by using tinyeye but when the piece was revealed with a portion of the final boss' hand and the globe. Anyone that has played any incarnation of strider knows that the pic above is also depicted in the opening cutscenes of just about every single strider game. :)

Good job by the way on the puzzle. You got it quick.
I didn't want it to be easy, but wanted it to be something that would give itself away near the end.
I plan to run these a couple of times a month - so any input on making it better would be welcome.

For those of you who are looking for an arcade printer. I've had great success with John. My last cabinet was a MKII and all the artwork was provided by him. Highly recommended.

Tinyeye is a great tool for A) Finding a larger version of a picture if one is available and B) Finding an uncensored version of pictures one sometimes comes across on the interwebs. ;D
