Title: epsxe 1.6 whats a game that runs well?
Post by: tyweed on September 18, 2003, 07:59:44 pm: I'v just set up epsxe and i'm testing it with Pete's Soft Driver 1.54 and Null2's Audio Plug-in (1.3) with syphon filter 3. And it runs way to fast and sound is super buggy. I was just curious if there is a game i know runs well in epsxe so i can then start fooling with plugins .Thanks alot

ps i have radeon 7500 if anyone knows which plugin would be ideal please let me know

oh and also compressing the iso's i'v heard there are applications that will run the games and keep them compressed is this true?

Try fiddling around with the frameskip, try making the maximum at 55 or 60 or so, until you get a speed that works. :)

Post by: TalkingOctopus on September 19, 2003, 11:06:38 am: I use eternal SPU for audio - try that. I have a pentium 3 733 with a radeon 7500 and so far it has been able to run everything I have thrown at it.
