Title: Help. Suddenly Gun 1 doesn't seem to work on my arcade

Hello, I have an area 51 arcade and today I noticed that the 1 player gun will not get any of the guys. So I went in to calibrate it and while player 2 calibrates fine, player 1's gun will not calibrate. There is a little screen where you can see on the screen a crosshair of where your gun is being registered. Player 2 shows up fine, but player 1 will not show up at all. Now, when i push the trigger to make player 1 shoot, the screen flashes like normal, but it seems the game just thinks I'm always shooting off screen and just reloads the shells.

Anyone know what I can do?

I would take the gun apart and check over the wiring/sensor. Check the sensor is getting 5v and check continuity between the sensor and game board for a start.

Static will sometimes kill the chip in the gun. Happ sells replacement boards, but if you are tallented enough you can buy a new lm311 and replace the chip.
