Title: Making Custom Rom List for Hyperspin
Post by: mike96sc2 on December 05, 2011, 09:57:31 pm
I have finally almost got everything up and running. My Hyperspin even works (happily). I would like to though set up a favorite roms list rather than have all the roms I have. Hyperlist, seems to want to break them all down via genre. I was trying to use MaLa GL Editor in hopes I could go from one to the other but no luck there (no .ini to .xml).

Does anyone have any recommendations for a quick and easy way to make a good rom list? I'd like to be able to pre-filter a few things but then more or less drag and drop followed up by making the .xml file.

Any suggestions?

Thx!

Kinda works, I can't separate them out by category or anything else. I receive a Controls.xml error. I've downloaded a couple other lists.

I might try ClrMame or Romlister and see if I have any success

what's the controls.xml error you're getting in romlister?  I wrote it, I can probably help!

clrmame is a ROM zip file tool, not a list generator, so it won't do what you want.

yeah, you should try romlister. ;)

webmame does it.  And I THINK it will handle 2.0 based on some threads on the HyperSpin messageboards... but not confirmed.

Funny, once I read the tutorial all worked.

Nevermind me. :)
