I have had this cab for a good while now and it is in very bad shape. However, a few weeks ago I decided to make a start on bringing her up to speed.
This is what I started with:

I began by trying to restore the fibreglass parts myself and managed to get the primer to stick quite well to what was frankly a crappy surface. However, when I began putting the top coats on it was a mess. I sanded it back down and tried again but kept getting the same results, so I took all the fibreglass parts to my local car repair place. They came back yesterday:

That's pretty much where it's at. There are three of us working on it tomorrow, and I hope to get it almost finished. I pretty much have all the parts I need.. and these came today from videogameparts.com:

I have a couple of wheel emblems too, and the DHL box in some of the pics is a new multisync for it.
Will post more over the weekend :D

Good call on the car repair place, they came back looking great. It's a nice thing the game still works, so most of the effort will be in the physical aesthetics. What are you planning for the base? Looks like you're missing a panel cover. I've seen people restore and paint the bases black instead of the grey. Also, some folks like to cover the top with those rubber grip-mats.
How are the controls? I'm assuming they'll probably need a bit of love.
Also, nice looking Computer Space! Does it work?
I'd like to see how this restore pans out.
