So I really want to get a PS 3 holiday bundle on black Friday. How long do you think I show up in advance to wait in line? Keep in mind that walmart has black Friday item store maps online. I wonder if 3 hours is good enough. If I can’t get one there at 10 pm it’s off to another store for the 5 am sale. Thanks.

What do you value your time at?
I personally go with $75/hour. If i can save more than $75 for each hour i wait, then it's worth it. If not, then it's not worth it.

How much is it going for? Is it significantly cheaper than any other time of the year (or retailer)? For me, three hours to wait on line for a five-year old console would be a bit overkill and I'd rather pay the few extra bucks getting if off Amazon or something. I can't imagine it being priced much lower than MSRP (video games are funny like that).

Damn the PS3 is five years old?! Im a little bias because I already have one, but I went to a black friday thing back in 2006 when the first gears of war came out for the 360, and I got it bundled with the system, and I went at 5. That was before this midnight on thanksgiving, and 3 am crap. I didnt wait in line, I was bigger than everyone there so I kinda just muscled my way in. :lol

Thanks, guys. Its going for $199.99 wich is $50.00 of retail and it also includes little big planet 2 and ratcget and clank all for one. So you saving about around $150.00 or more depending where you shop.

What the hell do you do for a living that your time is worth $75/hr and where do I sign up?

Damn, PS3s are getting cheap... just need to stop buying arcade cabs and clear out my 360 backlog, and I can grab one... of course that will never happen...
