I'm using an Aimtrak setup and it's working very well with games like Egg Venture, Deer Hunting, Turkey Hunting, etc.
I'm very happy with the Aim Trak calibration in windows - the cursor follows the line of sight on the gun very closely.
So far, Egg Venture, Deer Hunting, and Turkey Hunting all track well.
For some reason, when I launch Sharpshooter, the crosshairs load about an inch to the right of my line of sight. I can run the gun calibration setup in the game's dip switches, and it locks the gun's sights to the MAME crosshairs, but I can't use the barrel of the gun to aim because it's off by so much.
What's causing this? Is there some kind of setting I can change for Sharpshooter to sight this crosshair in? I didn't know if there was some of 'offset' command you could enter in the game's config file or something.
Anyone got anything?

Bump. Anyone got anything?

This is one of the constant issues with any gun. I don't know the solution, but I'd suggest trying the in-game calibration. You'd have to get to the service menu (F2 I think) and then navigate to wherever it's located for that specific game.
I love gun games, but I must admit that I never thought they would be such a PITA. Had I known the level of aggravation they can cause, I would have skipped them. It seems like even when you get them working perfectly...they break just by looking at them. :dunno

Been there, done that.

Like I said, frustrating...

It's weird. Every other game is locked in just great. But when I launch Sharpshooter, the in-game crosshairs are offset from the MAME ones. I can't get them to line up.
