I saw and heard it last night. Discovered it was living in my sub. Pissed off I took my sub out side and got it to run out. I was hoping that would be the end of it but in my heart I felt it would not be.
Of course tonight I hear something again.

I don’t have any particular fear of mice but… SO GROSS.. and to even think of the damage it is doing inside there just pisses me off.

my flatmate listens to dubstep, god its awful. i can't think of any other genre i'd rather hear through a wall less than that ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---

I've been listening to electronic music for ~20 years and dubstep was neat back in 1998. While it's pretty cool to hear stuff I kinda like on mainstream radio Deadmau5 doesn't really do it for me. Granted, the last time the rodeo came through town the carnies were rocking the hell out of those tracks.
I was talking about the constant negativity. But since I'm about to shell out some, you're excused....

There's two I can think of that are pretty close contenders. Both from the 90's.
It Came from Outer Bass II (http://www.amazon.com/Came-Outer-Bass-II/dp/B000001LR8) (note the comments there are from 2011!!)
and
the Ska Punk blend that really pushes the cymbals and hi-hats. I can't think of the band that did this atm.
-
haha i quite like ska punk.. against all authority.. choking victim.. bits of rancid..

The mouse is just a big Heavy metal fan and wanted to be right at the heart of it.
>:D
You mad bro?
Oh i've been on tumblr too long
-
A mouse in your subwoofer means you're not playing your music loud enough. Better shape up or you'll have a family of opossums in there before you know it.
-
Hope you don't live in California, they might seize your woofer and your house to create a mouse refuge!
-
Could be babies in there.

I loaded some traps last night with Jiff peanut butter. No one can resist the Jiff. I loaded the traps right like I always do but the peanut butter was gone this morning and traps did not go off. Clearly I am dealing with a higher inelegance.
-
Keep feeding them the peanut butter, and before long they will be too fat to fit back into the hole. Problem solved.

I am playing your songs but the mouse told me to tell you guys to go F*** your selves he is not going down that easy.
I also reloaded the traps. Made extra sure that even the slightest breeze would trigger these traps off. He has not even touched them today……………………. FUC...

get the traps where the trigger plate has a little slot. put a small piece of lean bacon (less than the size of a dime) wedged into the slot. this works better than peanut butter, because they can't just lick it without setting off the trap. they love the meat. don't make the bacon too big or they'll be able to eat it off.
-

Plus then you'll have less bacon

Why would you need a plane to build you a robot?
Clearly the mouse has the edge in this one!

Had mice in my house once. Set up traps in several spots. Most of the time the mice would just eat the food and leave the trap. There was one trap that was relativly successful though. Best thing I did for mice was get a cat. He definatly earned his keep those first few weeks. Plus it was fun to see him come running when he heard a trap go off. Then you would see him carry the mouse with the trap still attached across the living room floor. Whatever made him happy. LOL.

You're Dead Mousie

Glue traps always worked best for us. But then you have to murder a small animal because it's guaranteed they'll still be alive when you find them. :P
As much as it pains me, I'm going to, wait for it..... agree with pbj. Had a mouse (turned out there was more than one) eating the food in the pantry. Snap traps, fancy traps, etc. No joy. My son says, "Dad, get those glue traps." I did, caught the mouse that very night. However, pbj is right, the mouse was still alive (although very tired and probably having a cardiac event trying to get loose from the glue. Turns out if you smack the trap against the driveway the mouse dies. Worked 100% of the times I tried it.
I do not advocate killing animals or insects if they stay outside. However, once they cross the threshold of the house they have chosen to die. Maybe that is how small things commit suicide.

We are having a mouse infestation in our neighborhood, none have gotten in the house, but the dogs have gotten a handful in the backyard, and my garage has a a few. We got one of these on the recommendation of a friend:

I have been using it for a week. You bait one end with peanut butter, the mice wander in and ZAP! Those ---maternal-smurfs--- get electrocuted. It can kill up to three at a time, yesterday I got two of them. I can only imagine what went through that second mouse's head:
"Hey I smell some peanut butter in that little plastic cave!"
mouse walks in, sees dead mouse
'Oh ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---! what happened to Steve!"
Volts start pulsing though his veins..
"Nooooooo!!!!"
Anyhow, give it a shot, works well, is reusable, kills the mice dead with no mess.
-
why not just open up the sub? My son filled my Infinity sub with matchbox cars and i just popped the woofer out and removed them. The port on my sub now has a screen on it ;D
-
Mice are fine, its rats that are the problem. I have some big ---daisies--- that eat the fruit in the trees in my backyard. everytime I let my dog out to pee, she runs like a maniac and tries to jump up and get em. I used some traps to kill some of them, only got about 5, using the peanut butter method, but I think they wised up. Saw too many of their bretheren get thrown in the trash. I caught a bird the other day though, that kind of bummed me out so I stopped using the traps. :-\
Hopefuly they just drown in their nest, its been raining so much. The glue doesnt work for rats in case you were wondering.
-
Don’t think I have ever seen a none captivity Rat. I remember living in California big possum rat looking things would run across the power lines.

I finally caught the Sub-woofer mouse. He was not that smart I just realized I did not have the mouse trap triggered quite right.
Few weeks later a see a real stupid mouse run across my floor. He was not even trying to be stealthy like they usually are. Later that night I here it’s stupid ass make a bunch of noise under my oven, I put a trap next to it and I swear 3 minutes after leaving the room I hear it snap and it’s dumb ass is squirming in it.
Now I am under a new attack. This one does appear a lot smarter. It does not make a sound. Only reason I was aware of its presence is because I thought I got a quick peak when I walked into the kitchen one day. It has completely ignored the Benut butter traps in the kitchen and today I walk in and see this on the kitchen counter.

My mom's house had mice about 10 years ago. Best thing she could do to keep them at bay was start from the outside. Make sure all the vents are 1-ways with the proper covers. Once you're sure that no more mice can get in (or out) then it's time to worry about your traps.
Best thing we found for traps? Honey jars. They get expensive, but the mice seemed to always fall in them. Granted you're stuck with a jar of honey and a drowned mouse, but they always seemed to do the trick.
-
Ya that is a good idea will have to do a house inspection tomorrow. I have no idea how they are getting in from the ground… could they get on the roof and come through a way up there? Can mice climb trees or walls?
-
none have gotten in the house,
LOL

My money is on the mice!
-
just a FYI...
place your standard mouse trap with the narrow side and your bait up against the wall.
that makes the mouse have to come in from the side to get it... consequently having to get farther into the trap to get the food.

Sorta like catching roaches with a cup of Coke. (Of course, I put baits around so that I don't even ever see 'em.)
