Title: Star Wars Battlefront II Cab
Post by: starwarsfan54321 on November 13, 2011, 07:36:42 pm
Would it be possible to use a lightgun such as the EMS topgun 3 with Star Wars Battlefront 2 on the PC?
The other night, I was playing Battlefront and thought it would be cool to use a lightgun, but I don't want to waste my money if it doesn't work.
thanks for the responses in advance.

I'm not sure.  Since it requires arrow keys AND the mouse, you might be able to do by using the lightgun to emulate the mouse and mapping the motion to a joystick.  I don't know if this will work though.  Sorry I'm not more help!

I've been wondering if it would be possible to play a FPS using a lightgun for mouse and a dance pad for directional arrows.  A projector setup like this could be awesome!  Or suck (I haven't tried it yet).

Why not?

The light gun is one big mouse to the PC.  Map the pad on the  LCDTG tigger for movement, or if it is for a cab, maybe a modded dance mat?

How many times are you going to play it?

I have it for PS2/PC/Xbox but I prefer the controller.

Let us know how you get on.

@ark_ader,  that's about what I was thinking, except that a joystick would work better than a dance mat. (in my opinion, obviously :) )
After all, a pad would be pretty awkward and you would keep looking down a lot, detracting from gameplay.
