Small detail: IMHO the buttons seem a bit high relative to the joystick position.

that's awesome. is this going to have a pc inside of the CP or are you just going to run some cables out of it to hook up to a tower? I have more metals and plastics experience than i have woodworking. I have decided to do something simillar as a first project in order to get better aquainted with mdf. Going to base my design around the Mortal Kombat fight stick (http://www.pdp.com/mkstick/) and an itx motherboard inside.

I like how you swapped the button plungers to make each player's color inverted.

for it being a small 2 day project just for fun, i think it came out incredibly well.

A standalone cp with an itx machine shoved into it is going to be my first build. It will either be based on the Mortal Kombat Fight Stick (http://www.pdp.com/mkstick/) design or the X-Arcade Solo (http://www.xgaming.com/store/arcade-joysticks-and-game-controllers/product/x-arcade-solo-joystick/). I only wish i could see one of these first hand to get some better dimensions for the build.
