My wife hates my arcade machine with a vengeance. She calls it "the monster".
I believe DK's wife is into them though. She has a word carving business called "nice carvings", and I must say she's very talented.

It's a well known fact that a girl interested in video games scores bonus 'points' on the attractiveness scale. A girl in the local games shop changed from being moderately attractive into a real looker the moment she started intelligently discussing the relative merits of various versions of assassins creed.
Which ones of us developed a crush on a girl in an arcade, who would not normally have turned heads?
We have to be careful what we wish for though. My wife is not only interested in video games, she has sometimes (ahem) been known to beat me at them. :badmood:

I don't see why it matters if there are women, single or otherwise, on here. If one comes in and says, "I am," the thread will be flooded with a response of, "Tits or gtfo."

I am not going to assume I know what the original poster meant but I interpreted it as he meant “was there a woman at all on this form”. He was using single to mean "one", not to mean "not married". That is the way I took it.

There don't seem to be many. There are probably about the same (maybe a few more) at KLOV. Of those here I recall, I haven't noticed any posts by, lately.
I've always been curious, though. What are their experiences with games, in particular retro games? What games do they like most, and why? What are their motivations in the hobby?

My wife has nothing to do with the buying or fixing, but she plays them and has pretty strong opinions about many of them. She considers a lot of the collectors to be friends of hers. Unfortunately, she usually has other collectors crawling all over her during shows.

yeah, just asking for pics in general is sorta creeper-ish. I can't speak of a specific one, but it does seem common. Last time it wasn't a member, but just some guy mentioning how he got some naughty pics of a gal while fixing her comp. Not sure if that counts , but yeah I can see why the ladies wouldn't give their gender.
