Title: Skegvegas coin slots - where can I get these? Could I make them?

Was on the pier in Skegness this week. Had one eye on the kids and the other looking at coin slots that could be mounted on a horizontal surface  ;D

Does anyone know if these can be bought (just one of the slots, not the rest of the mechanism)? Rescued from an otherwise doomed restoration project?

If not, then I reckon I could make the simpler of the 2 from a piece of flat sheet metal, but I dont know how I would create a neat slot. Lots of closely drilled holes? Too narrow to get a file in there though I reckon.

There's the skeeball style (http://www.ebay.com/itm/SKEE-BALL-FOOTBALL-PLATE-PLUG-PT-222-70-4-NOS-/370269773387?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5635cc5e4b), but skeeball parts are a little pricey.

Thanks, that's the best idea I've got so far. you're right though. A bit pricey,esp with shipping to the uk
