Title: Apache push pull spinner screeching when turning and twisting at same time

When i go to push down to fire or hold down for rapid fire and im twisting it, it screeches like metal on metal.  Is this just the sound of the stainless plate rubbing on the actuator of the switch?

I was thinking about it and it may need lubrication since it is over 4 years old and has never been used.
