Having an issue replying to posts in the buy/sell section. No option to do so.

Buy/Sell/Trade
Along with the normal rules of the main message board, please follow these guidelines:
1. No illegal activity (duh)
2. No ROM requests
3. Commercial vendors of on-topic items are welcome
4. No hidden details, no "backup" CDs/DVDs, no "PM or email me for details," no winks or nods.
5. Please be informative as possible in the subject line.
Note, a minimum post limit is in effect. You cannot post in BST if you still have "Newbie" status.

I think it is 10 posts needed before you can post on Buy/Sell/Trade. 1 down, 9 to go. ;)

Nope. If they want to post there, Saint can allow it. But, regardless, it ain't 10. ;)

:dunno Oops....I thought I knew. Yeah, Saint can grant the power if he catches the post. I don't think PM rights come right away, so I don't know if there is an surefire method to get rights.
That being said, that should probably be a topic of discussion: Is there a method that new members can follow if they specifically want to talk to a seller on B/S/T?

Post more. :P

:lol Well, speaking from the point of view of someone who has been a noob on a number of boards, it is awkward and intimidating going into a new board and being expected to post when you feel out of place just getting your first post out there. Posting a lot is daunting.
I don't know if it is an option on this forum system, but I have been on a forum that gives you the option to post in an "introduce yourself" thread instead of meeting a post count to give privileges to post in certain boards.
I'd be fine with requiring a certain number of posts before allowing starting a new topic on B/S/T, but to reply to a thread I think it would be nice to offer newbies an alternate plan, we got a pretty good marketplace here.
