The first time I saw the trailer for that, I just thought WTF. :dunno If there was ever a movie that did not need to be remade, it's Footloose. The concept was dumb then, and it seems even dumber now. At least then it had Kevin Bacon. Hollywood has mostly given us ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- for about the last 3-4 years IMO, but remaking a movie that was kinda mediocre to begin with (yeah I know it was popular, but seriously, it's not that good) and remaking it BADLY just takes the cake.

And they wonder why so many people don't wanna pay $10 to see a movie anymore. ::)

Hell I would be glad if it was 10 bucks. Its 12.50 where I live. 3D is 17 bucks.  :angry:
