Title: solved: Automate 'OK' button press ?
Post by: Gray_Area on October 16, 2011, 01:36:22 am
I'm using gmail notifier. On system boot, it throws up a password window. While it does remember my username and password, I have to press OK for notifier to do its thing.

There are no options in the app to automate this. I was using start-up delayer to activate notifier, and delayer has a 'parameters' box, which I'm assuming is command line switches - but I can't figure out what would 'press the OK button'.

Anyone have an idea? Or another idea?

Ghost mouse script the fires up when you boot and clicks the OK button for you?

I've looked into scripting, but don't get some things. What would the syntax be?

I thought of looking for something like this, but couldn't think of what to look under. Nice. Thanks.
