Title: CP photoshop dimension help
Post by: LASmith132 on October 09, 2011, 08:42:51 pm
Hey Guys,

Could anyone tell me what are the dimensions of this CP? http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=39025.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=39025.0)

I need specific information like where from the center line are the buttons, joysticks? At what inch exactly does the curve happen ? etc

I tried to find out how to read it but I can't figure out the exact dimensions.

Thanks guys

Just put the psd file into photoshop and use the ruler tool. That should help you out

Maybe not the help you're looking for but I would personally open it in a vector program (illustrator, corel draw) scale it by using the diameter of the button holes.  Trace it with the pen tool.  Export it as an autocad file DWG.  Open it in google sketchup and make sure you have the units right and use the measurement tools to get exact dimensions.  Of course if I had autocad I could do it from there but sketchup is free.
