It's base on the Ultimate Arcade Cabinet 2 design minus 10 inches from front to back and 27.5 wide.I have a 27 inch sony tv.I used plywood and laminated the interior and exterior.Here are some build pics http://imageshack.us/g/849/73688464.jpg/. (http://imageshack.us/g/849/73688464.jpg/.)

The cab looks great. Very nicely done. I like the control panel. Its simple and to the point.

I always viewed the UA2 as an odd design and a bit of a beast. We replicated it's dimensions as a 1-piece design for simplicity for this one guy, but thankfully we asked him to check the dimensions of where it was intended to go first, and he discovered it wouldn't fit in his garden office door. We took the size in ( but kept it as large as possible at his request) so it just fit in through the window frame.
Glad to see you had the sense to take that ---smurfette--- in a bit too.

I have a UAII and its a beast. My only complaint I have towards the AUII kit is that they use pretty cheap wood. Not too sure if it uses MDF, particle board or hybrid wood...but it chips very easy. :angry:
I was going to attempt to make it from scratch like you did, but I cannot cut a staight line for the life of me. lol
