I am using CP Wizard 2.38, and Mala 1.74. When I have the two running together, but don't bring up my CP while in a MAME game, then things are fine. However, when I bring up my CP while in a MAME game, and then I go to exit, I see the background for my Mala layout, but nothing else.
Now, I know everything is still there, because if I move the trackball or joystick and hit the button to start a game, then it works. However, even exiting that new game doesn't show me the rest of my layout. I have found that if I hit the Escape key the Mala exit window comes up, and if I hit Escape again to clear that window, everything comes back.
As I said, this problem only happens when I view my CP while in a MAME game.
Please let me know what additional information I can provide to help troubleshoot this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So you're saying when you exit CPWizard MAME is still running but the MaLa window is in front? So you can alt-tab to MAME?
Can you post your CPWizard.log file? CPW is supposed to bring MAME's window back by maximizing it. That should be in front of MaLa.

Sorry if I didn't explain it properly. Let me try again. When I bring up CP wizard while in MAME, the control panel comes up fine. And when I escape the control panel, it goes back to MAME no problem. However, once I think exit MAME back to Mala, I run into the situation I mentioned. The Mala window is there showing the background, but my games list and everything else that should be there is invisible. If I hit Escape in Mala to bring up the exit window and then hit the escape key a second time to cancel that window, then everything shows up again fine. It is very strange. I am experiencing this with my custom Mala profile, and also the default one.
