Anyone seen one of these? I'm wondering if it might be a good start
for a Star Wars cab.

Do you mean gutting it and using it for a homemade cabinet?
-
Yes, either that or making use of the controls it already has in it
to play MAME, other games.
-
That games looks like more fun then the original
-
Cool.....might have to get one and see what can be done with it

Now, I know it's yours and you can do whatever you want with it, but I think you're destroying a piece of arcade gaming history here if you MAME this or use it in a cab. I mean, seriously. The people at KLOV would crucify you - just get it into the hands of someone that wants it and let them have it. Go buy a Dynamo cab.
Hehe....
Seriously though, anyway to hack this into a Star Wars controller of some sort? That's the last damn control I need...well, that and paperboy.

I'm going to check out the games on it first, and just may keep it as-is if I like them.
Can't think of too many games that use this type of controller anyway to warrant
a full cab in my already-overcrowded house:
Star Wars
Empire Strikes Back
Spy Hunter (sort of)
others...?

I must say, those graphics are AWESOME! (and that video is RIDICULOUS).
But...since it's motion sensors not sure if it's worth it over some type of pot/mouse hack. With it mounted down onto a CP, it may play like complete crap. Still, interested in seeing if it can be wired into a cab and how it works.
